Sourcing

From the quarry, to your project.

Every slab in our warehouse has a story that started thousands of miles away. We don't broker stone — we partner with quarries directly, visit them in person, and hand-select what comes home.

Where we source

Five countries, one standard.

Our network of quarry partners spans Italy, Brazil, Spain, India, and the United States — each chosen for material quality, environmental practice, and the consistency we can rely on year after year.

01

Italy

Carrara

Marble
Calacatta, Carrara, Statuario, Borghini — sourced from the same Apennine quarries that supplied Michelangelo. Our Italian partners go back four generations and supply us with the bulk of our white marble inventory.
02

Brazil

Espírito Santo & Bahia

Granite, Quartzite
Brazil produces the world's most dramatic granites and the entire global supply of premium quartzite. We work with three exclusive partners across two states.
03

Spain

Macael, Almería

Marble
Spain's Macael region — quarried since Roman times — supplies refined whites and creams that complement our Italian inventory.
04

India

Rajasthan

Granite
India produces some of the most durable granites on the market, with extraordinary color range. Our Rajasthan partners hold ISO certifications for environmental practice.
05

USA

Vermont, Georgia

Marble, Granite
Domestic quarries reduce lead time and freight cost on select colorways. Our American partners supply specific projects with provenance requirements.
Our selection process

Hand-selected, never broker-purchased.

  1. STEP 01

    Quarry visit

Our buyers travel to each partner quarry annually — sometimes more often. We see the active blocks before they're cut, and reserve the ones we want.

  2. STEP 02

    Block inspection

Color, veining, structural integrity. We reject blocks with hairline fractures or color variation outside our spec.

  3. STEP 03

    Slab review

After cutting, every slab is photographed and sent to us for approval before crating. Sub-grade material doesn't get on the boat.

  4. STEP 04

    Crate & freight

Slabs travel in custom A-frame crates with shock indicators. Damage in transit is documented immediately and replaced.

  5. STEP 05

    Warehouse intake

Every arriving slab is re-inspected at our Cherry Hill warehouse. Anything below spec gets sent back at the supplier's expense.
